Email Error Explanations

INVALID EMAIL
Emails marked as invalid by the ISP or identified as invalid by the platform. It is likely that this email address was typed in wrong and needs to be revised before any emails can be sent to them.

DEFERRED
Emails not sent due to a temporary problem. They will be resent shortly. If it is not deliverable, it will eventually result in an error.

SOFT BOUNCE
Temporarily undelivered emails. This may be due to the mail server being temporarily unavailable or a full mailbox. Notify the recipent that their system is temporarily unavailable or their mailbox is full and remedy the situation before any emails can be received.

HARD BOUNCE
Undelivered emails that will never arrive because the email addresses are misspelled or do not exist.

BLOCKED - Emails marked as spam. Emails that repeatedly result in a hard bounce will eventually be blocked and no more email will be sent to the address. These email addresses can be unblocked in cases where it is necessary.

SPAM
Email marked as SPAM.

UNSUBSCRIBED
When one of your recipients unsubscribes from emails sent by one of your senders by clicking on the unsubscribe link.
